A really solid performance and win. What I really like about Bellamy is that yes he does talk a good talk but he persistently translates that to what we see on the pitch. In his press conference before the game he spoke so much about his team being patient and consistent through the match and crucially not getting frustrated – and that’s exactly what we saw. My ratings are all relative, let me know what you think!
Darlow – (7) Not really much to say here (0 saves, 0 punches and just 11 touches).
Roberts – (6) Another solid performance, nothing in particular that stood out.
Rodon – (SEREN Y GÊM) Clean sheet and a first Cymru goal. Incredibly reliable and looked an absolute rock.
Davies – (8) Defensively solid and won the ball back on the half way a number of times to sustain attacks.
Williams (7) – Started very well and terrorised their fullback alongside Sorba. Gutted to see him strerchered off after 24mins, fingers crossed it’s not too serious!
Ampadu – (8) Really REALLY great to have him back. He gives so much freedom to those ahead of him and allows us to stay on the front foot. Next time you watch Wales, watch Ampadu.
Wilson – (7) Gave Wales needed energy and was consistent in making things happen, or trying to at least

Cullen (7) – A good performance, lead Wales for interceptions on the night and his running numbers are clearly a big factor in why Bellamy is such a big fan of his. Are we giving him the benefit of the doubt for that cross for the last goal? Would like to see him take more risks.
Johnson – (6) I really like Brennan but he left me wanting more. Couple of great crosses that Kieffer should have converted. I think I’d like to see him become our main man and think he can do it.
Thomas – (7) Attempted a monster 23 crosses and whilst his end product wasn’t always perfect he ran his full back ragged. He’s really split opinion in the car to Heathrow this morning, I personally think he did really well.
Moore– (6) On another day, he probably should score more. Flattered to deceive on the night, his positioning was very good but his decision making let him down too many times. Fatigued after a long season?
Embed from Getty ImagesOn to Belgium now, where a late Alisoski equaliser in Skopje has somehow put even more on an already huge game. See you there! Ymlaen Cymru.
